we took the module 2 exam again this week sense it didnt work last week..i got a 100 on it so that was good..now we are starting module 3 next week so that should be fun..

last week we started looking at module 2 when Mr. Klinefelter left for the day, and this week we should be working/finsihing it up. and hopefully we all do better on this test then the module one exam

So last week we took the module 1 exam...we all failed besides Mr. Klinefelter and some how my 63 was one of the highest grades but all well ill take it..now we get to start module 2 and fail that exam this week..

Hopefully this week we finish up on our the first part of the module because we have to be far behind on scheldule. Last week we only touched on it a little of one bell.

Last week we finished up with our little computer lab. So now we can all be over there and work on the curicullium together or something like that. We also did a short lab hooking up two computers to a router and switch. And this week im not exactly sure what we are working on...

so last week we took two test module 6 which i got a 100 and module 6/7 which i got a 95 so overall good week...this week i was suppose to take the test but it says its not active so idk..and tomorrow we have a party and im not brining anything so we'll see how that goes..

last week we worked on making some more cables, we made a crossover and tryed to connect our pc's together but they didnt work and no one knows why? so now we've made a stright through and crossover, some people made the crossover cables to connect the xbox which im guessing we'll do this week. we also studied for our module 6 exam which everyone did good on..i think..so well done..

Last week all we did was have our lil party. So all we did was eat and talk basically. This week we allready started module 6 and hopefully we can do some more things with the xbox's now but who knows we'll see...

this week we took the module 5 exam, and me tyler actually passed for once. Billy got a 100% so today we're partying thanks to Mr. Klinefelter and who ever else brought in things. Now we have a week off and then come back and start module 6.

we finsihed some stuff with the xbox's but we're still not completely done with it yet. Now we are starting module 5 today and learning about LANs and WANs. Hopefully we get to do some more hands on stuff with this module, and hopefully it wont be to hard.

Last week we worked on getting two xbox's to talk to each other. I'm not sure if everyone was excited to learn about xbox's or they're just wanting to play them. We should finish connecting them today and maybe even play? who knows. This will be a first for me with xbox's I've done it with ps2's but thats a little different. But i think it will be fun.

Last week was good.I specially like the guest speaker we had that was able to tell us some stuff but mainly show us stuff...no offense Mr. K...some of the stuff was confusing for all the wire types and what there for but hopefully this week as we go over them and learn how to make them we will get a much better understanding. It was cool to hear some of the stories he had from places he's been and seen. Specially for the disasters from all the wiring all over the place. Hopefully this week we get to finish our presentations cuz my group isn't near done and i hope that all goes well.

So this past week in cisco...the test? whats there to say we all failed but one person. The stuff is confusing but I'm not sure if thats the problem or not at least for me personally its not. I dont think I take enough time looking over the material and actually studying it, but i rather just listen in class and expect to know everything which hasn't seemed to be working at least the grades don't show it working. We're watching a movie it pretty intresting but we haven't finished it yet so I don't know what all there is. This week we finish the movie and start module 3? maybe, well good luck to everyone on the next test...we need it..

This week and last week in our cisco class we've been learning about hexadecimal and all that good stuff. It was confusing at first but after you catch on it seems to be pretty easy. I'm hoping after this we can get onto something i know or a lil less confusing, but overall its not that bad. Thursday we have an exam and the way Mr. Klinefelter spoke it seemed like we're all doomed, but hopefully me and Tyler can get one passing grade. If not at least the class if still fun.

Today I read Wendell Berry's reasons for not buying a computer or other things of that sort. I would agree that there is no reason to use strip-mined coal and there should be other ways to use less or none of it. However, there is needs for computers. Berry said that computers do not help with family, health, justice, peace, honesty, community stability, and good work. I have family in other states sometimes the only way to keep close to them is through email or aim. Imagine if we didn't have the technology that we have now in hospitals, imagine how many lives its saved. Think of all the criminals that wouldn't be in jail if it weren't for our abilities to do things on the computers with DNA and other things of that sort. The possiblities are endless. I agree that there is no difference in the quality of writing from a pencil or computer. Computers make the process faster and could lower the risk of errors but not change the quality of the writing in which only the writer and his thoughts can change not the writer and the keyboard in front of him. I suppose Mr. Berry makes a good case, but I think in the long run computers have helped so much moe and are the future of this country/world.
